I hope you’ll give it a try.In this new series, I used two different colored cords to create deeper, richer nuances through their overlapping layers.This second release features a gentle combination of ivory and enji (crimson-red).
Although the contrast is clear, both colors have a soft, muted, and subdued quality that produces a simple, sincere, and warm atmosphere.The fluffy, three-dimensional overlapping petals of the decorative knot, made in these colors, evoke the feeling of a retro, nostalgic Japanese sweet — fragile, warm, and comforting.It’s the kind of piece that makes you smile unconsciously, pick it up in your palm, and simply admire it.
