Decorative Japanese Ornamental Knot Hair Tie "Oto Tabaneru" – Black. Perfect for yukata, kimono, and Japanese hairstyles.
A decorative knot hair tie designed to create a Japanese atmosphere by first gathering the hair with the elastic part, then wrapping the dangling cord over it. It takes a little practice at first, but it adds a unique nuance to a simple updo.This fifth piece in the series is made in black — a simple, chic, and smart color with a sharp, serious, and handsome presence. Although it appears understated at first, black becomes a powerful tool for creating atmosphere once you become familiar with how to use it.
☆ This accessory uses a “decorative knotting” technique. Please note that it is completely different from mizuhiki or kumihimo.
