Product Description
Decorative Japanese Ornamental Knot Hairtie "Tokihitari, Kimi" – Dark Blue × Hanada. Easy Japanese-style hair arrangement for kimono and yukata.
A hairtie designed so that you first gather the hair with the elastic part, then wrap the hanging cords over it to create a Japanese-atmosphere updo.It takes a little practice at first, but it allows you to add a different nuance to a simple gathered hairstyle.This is part of a new series that uses two colors of cord to create deeper nuance through the overlapping of colors. This ninth piece combines cool dark blue with hanada blue that carries a subtle green essence. Rather than a pure tone difference within the same color family, the slight mixture of another element brings out simplicity, vitality, and a sense of everyday reassurance.
☆ This accessory uses a “decorative knotting” technique. Please note that it is completely different from mizuhiki or kumihimo.
